·       Air in enter in body through nasal passage
·       The pass through the trachea, rings of cartilage.
·       Rings of cartilage insure the air passes don’t collapse
·       After that rings of cartilage divide into two parts each parts enter in each lungs called bronchi
·       Bronchi divide into multiple of branches called bronchioles.
·       Each bronchioles contain  balloon like structure called alveoli
·       Air coming by passing the pathway of nose, trachea, larynx, pharynx, bronchi, bronchioles come into alveoli which is balloon like structure which expand
·       The numbers of blood vessels are connected with alveoli which absorb the oxygen and diffuse co2 in it.
·       Hemoglobin contain in blood which have higher affinity to oxygen.
·       The bronchi, bronchioles, alveoli, are existing under the lungs which are protected by ribs.
Aerobic respiration- the respiration take place in presence of oxygen it produce co2 and 38ATP of energy
Anaerobic respiration- the respiration takes place in lack of oxygen produce lactic acid and 2 ATP of energy
Facts about respiration for other living beings –
·       Fish intake their air through gills
·       Breathing rate of fish is much more then terrestrial animal because there are lack of o2 in water
·       Plant takes oxygen in breathing and release co2 at night plant release only carbon dioxide because there in process of photosynthesis is not take place at night.
·       Desert plant intake co2 at night because stomata will release water
